Welcome to Shindigg.com. We're glad to have you here! We created Shindigg.com to be the ultimate destination on the internet to help you create and manage all your parties and events, from the quick "let's get a few friends together for a BBQ tonight" to a party for thousands of people. Either way, Shindigg lets you create and customize your very own party web site, invite your friends, track who has responded, upload photos after the party and a whole host of other things - all for free! Shindigg is quick and powerful, yet simple and easy to use.

Shindigg.com is in beta

We're in beta right now, so we don't have all of our features implemented, and it's likely that you’ll bump into a few bugs here and there. Have no fear – we are actively building cool new stuff and fixing bugs! But in order to create the best destination on the Internet for parties and events, we need your help. Feel free to give us your feedback and suggestions – we read everything and act on as much as we can. This is your web site, help us make it the best it can be.

Shindigg.com upcoming features at a glance

On Shindigg you can

• Create your very own party web site - not just a page for invitations that gets forgotten about, but a real site that you get to create and customize easily to suit your own style. Your parties now have a real home.
• Invite friends - send invites, allow people to forward invites, track who has responded etc... It's all there. Oh, by the way, your friends don't have to be members of Shindigg in order for you to invite them to your party, all they need is an email address or phone number that we can SMS them on. You'll find the features we have way more powerful, and much easier to use than some of the other sites out there.
• Upload your photos - after the party, upload your photos so you can share them with friends. Uploading photos is fully integrated to Shindigg, you don't have to go to other sites that are trying to sell you stuff.
• Link to other photos - what's that you say? You already have a web site that you like to upload your photos to and can't be bothered uploading them to multiple places? No worries, we understand. You can link to pictures from your Myspace account, Flickr account or pretty much anywhere else on the web. Your linked photos appear with any photos you have uploaded to Shindigg for a given event, or the pictures your friends upload.
• Share, tag, rate, mark your favorite photos - regardless of how you get your photos onto Shindigg you can share them, tag them, rate them and mark your favorites. It's all there... or at least it will be soon :)

Shindigg.com is free, simple as that.

No intrusive popup or take-over-the-entire-screen ads, ever

Shindigg does not and will not ever have those really annoying pop-up ads or Flash-based ads that take over your whole screen - you know the ones we're talking about. Those things really bug us, and we're willing to bet you're not a fan of them either. That's why we just say no to popup and take-over-the-screen ads. Of course, we have to pay the bills somehow, so Shindigg is advertising supported, we just don't want it to be too in-your-face.
