ANZACC Midwest is delighted to invite members and friends to the 2019 Down Under Soirée – celebrating Australia Day and Waitangi Day – at LondonHouse Chicago | Curio Collection by Hilton on Saturday, January 26, 2019 from 7:00pm to midnight.

The evening will begin with a cocktail reception followed by a seated, Australian-themed dinner courtesy of Fletcher International Exports Pty. Ltd and Rodinia Wines. It will include the Australia-US Midwest Awards for Outstanding Achievement presented by the Australian Consul General in Chicago, Peter Heyward, and a raffle draw featuring four roundtrip tickets to Australia or New Zealand courtesy of United Airlines and Air New Zealand benefiting Collaboraction. It will also showcase, a live performance by our special guests, Sir Taylor and the Example Setters, and dancing with Arlen Music Productions’ live band, Entourage.
Format:
- 7:00pm to 8:00pm – Cocktail reception boasting a full top-shelf bar, passed hors d'oeuvres, photo opportunity with the Australian, New Zealand and US flags, and raffle ticket sales.
- 8:00pm to 9:30pm – Seated, three-course, Australian and New Zealand-themed dinner featuring “Aussie Lamb” courtesy of Fletcher International Exports Pty. Ltd paired with a selection of Rodinia Wines and floral centerpieces by Flora Chicago, PLUS a live performance by our special guests, Sir Taylor and the Example Setters.
- 9:30pm to 10:00pm – The Australia-US Midwest Awards for Outstanding Achievement, presented by Australian Consul General, Peter Heyward, a raffle draw boasting four roundtrip tickets to Australia or New Zealand courtesy of United Airlines and Air New Zealand benefiting Collaboraction.
- 10:00pm to 12:00am – Dancing with Arlen Music Productions’ live band, Entourage, business networking in the lounge, and a themed photo booth.
